Union City Community Schools received a grant from the State of Michigan under section 11x(6) - Consolidation Studies in the amount of $45,500. The district contracted with The Christman Company and C2AE to conduct the study and issue a report. The report of their study was presented to our board of education on Monday, September 16th. The report is available at this link. The board voted at that meeting to accept the report as presented and to authorize Superintendent Katz to apply for a grant under Section 12c for funds to assist the district in implementing the recommendations of that report. The application for grant funds has been submitted and the district is waiting for a decision.
